Nuge and Gareth enjoying themselves...
Nuge not enjoying himself anymore. Heel bruise, down and out.
Gareth backside ollies... Today we got rained out so Rodent tried to keep us happy with some soggy ice cream.
It's been 100 degrees in the shade in North Carolina. Here are a few photos from yesterday's session.
Salem Oregon, We signed a few autographs, and skated the park. The kids were pretty quiet, so I requested a 'chant' to get me amped to try an impossible tailgrab over the pyramid.
The kid who pumped our gas for us had been getting in some fights.
We met a person from the shop at a K-Mart...
He took us to the shop where Kevin started making love to the Transistor Sect.
Exit Real World shop was fully stocked with Toy stuff, the Pawns will be happy.
Kids were lurking the streets.
We signed autographs out in the 100 degree weather, even in the shade it was crazy.
A kid from Dallas, not Texas, but Dallas, Oregon scraped his knee.
then we hung out while trying to find food.
WATCH THE L. KINCADE #12 from the ODDITY ODYSSEY!!!
When we packed up the van that morning, I realized the dudes in Billy's van have bought a lot of toys. Golf clubs and balls, a soccer ball, super soakers, paintball guns, slingshots, a keyboard, masks, and crazy shoes and skateboards.
The inside was getting cleaned out.
Stop Simping.
Today was a drive day, we had to motor up to Oregon. At one point we were stopped for construction.
Jon sleeps.
When we got to Lake Shasta we couldn't help but stop for a dip. We found a spot where we could jump off the base of a bridge into the perfect water.
Then Austin remembered that he jumped from the TOP of this bridge before. The thing was GIGANTIC.
Here is how big it is. I put an arrow on a person at the bottom so you can see how ridiculously high it is. Austin and Matt B jumped off the top of that. See the footage in an upcoming Kincade.
When Austin hit the sound was scary, the impact cut the inside of his mouth. Matt B's impact knocked the breath out of him and tweaked his back and gave him slight whiplash. We realized there was 20 feet more water when Austin did it before, so 20 extra feet of dropping!
Kevin was amazed!
Rob was pretty freaked too, he was gonna do it until he saw the results. J-Lay was pretty amped too.
Matt was shaken by the event. He contemplates it here.
Then we were off to the north!
We hit Ashland, and moved into the hippie scene.
Finally! I have been looking for a place that sells additives, and sassy tattoos. Jimmy from RVCA was lookin' fer some.
Poor Josh's slam yesterday has really messed him up, and we decided to send him home from Oakland Airport. He says goodbye to you all, and hello to his wife Jenna and son Harrison. Thanks for schralping Josh!
Lets start from the beginning. We stopped at a co-op to eat and saw this dedicated bench.
Billy somehow acquired a portable Guitar Hero game, and was doing it non-stop.
A close-up for you.
Grif set up a chip station.
Nick slept. The ride north was pretty crappy.
We got out of the Bay area traffic and into highway 101 traffic around Santa Rosa. Here is the Jon Nguyen coverage you asked for.
There are fires raging in nor-cal, and this whole area was covered in a thick fog of smoke. We got to Ukiah, and started signing autographs...
This dude got a board for his son.
Grif tried to mack. Straight Simping.
I added some drawing to this kids handmade shirt.
We rocked masks to cut down on the smoke in the air.
Then J.Gonzalez, the kid who comments here every day showed up, driving 3 hours from Eureka! Now that is a Loyal Pawn! Fuck Yeah J.Gonz!!!! We gave him a new Toy Machine Shred Sled for his efforts.
I asked him for a photo for the website and he took his new board and made it into a giant boner in front of his mom who seemed a bit weirded out, awesome.
Then we went to the owners' backyard ramp kegger...
J-Lay ripped up the pool coping with a scorching back smith.
We all had a great time kicking back and enjoying the scene.
Billy was even getting his tranny on.
And his trampoline skills are pretty sharp in the pitch black.
Grif's ass got stuck in the kiddie-chair.
Matt B was feeling the effects of all the smoke in the air.
We then went to McDonalds and got wierd in the parking lot.
Rob and Billy had a slingshot and paintball duel.
They start out back to back, walk 10 paces, then turn and fire.
Billy won.
We found a hotel, one half of it was renovated, the other was completely mangled, haunted, and a murder scene. Matt B got that room.
Grif tried to jump from the kitchen to the bed. We found a skateable satelite dish in the back of some building in some random town. Good times
Looks hot out there eh?
Looks like the guys found the biggest gap in town. Pat yourself on the back for that one.
Angel kept it mellow with a wallride across the hubba...
Abdias warms up with a front board...
I'm over Go Skateboarding Day already. I'm officially changing the day to Go Dunk Tanking Day. We really all need to come together for this new holiday. Heres a video we compiled to officially announce our Go Dunk Tanking Day. We sprinkled a little bit of skateboarding into it as well for all those 4 wheeled freaks.
TumYeto's Go Dunk Tanking Day video
TumYeto's Go Dunk Tanking Day video
So we had a little BBQ today for lunch.
I guess people eat stuff like this? Not me...
Thats better...now it feels like we're at Burger King.
Nuge and Gareth and Jason Adams with a few others now join Corey on a trip through South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and wherever else they want to go.
The team gets kicked out of the spot...
But come across this and Corey ollies a natural pyrmaid...
Josh Harmony milliseconds before clipping his toe on the rail and going down big time onto his back and head.
Man down.
But lets start with first things first. In Sacto, we tried to skate some spots, things were going well, Matt B was grifting some cash off some kids for used product, and the rest of the guys were seshing.
Until this doosh walked up screaming into his fake walkie-talkie 'Where is my pepper spray?' Oh, now we are scared.
I wonder if he could chase us?
Billy bought himself a keyboard at a thriftstore and started playing 'Jump' by Van Halen instantly...
At one spot, some kids showed up to lurk and poach footage.
They said, "Whats up Templeton? Are you gonna blog us?'
The sign in UC Davis is getting rad.
Josh was schralping...
Then a few Doosh-bags showed up and started shooting like it was their session. Josh then ate some seriously hard shit.
And was pretty shaken up.
So we got some food and a hotel run by Mongoloids.
Watch the L. Kincade 11 if you are bored. Flow rider Josh Swyers came down to NC and caught a bad one. Turns out he only sprained a toe.....
Don't miss the Foundation/Kelly D. Williams collab deck series Release Party. There will be some drinking, snacking and signing! Check the flier for more details
Click here for the bigger ollie version.
Nuge skates as Corey looks on.
Ollie up the Euro style gap.
Things are degenerating as we go.
Things are in need of re-alignment.
Kevin is channeling Guile from Street Fighter, or Chris Cooper from American Beauty.
Johnny enjoys his cancer in the form of grits.
Matt B is fun to be around.
This is Mike, he is the kid who has been showing us spots. It is very nice of him.
Here is an 'insiders' view' of the van in case anyone was wondering what that looks like.
And here is the outside, anyone who decides to roll the window down does so at their own peril.
Watch L. Kincade 11!!!!
And watch VIDEO-DRONE, Kevin (our award winning videographer's) monthly release of video-nuggets from the Toy Machine vaults. Gareth and Jason came back out to NC for a few days. Here are a few randoms from day one.
We found out that George Carlin died last night, that sucks. Then in the morning we picked up Seu Trinh from the airport and went skating.
We mostly were getting booted.
Then we found the rock gap, home to a big black widow spider, and a bunch of pesky runts.
What an angel right? This is one of those pesky runts.
He held up Austin at nerf-point for his skateboard or a dollar, whichever came first.
Then went after grif.
Then he executed all of us and kept telling us to shut-up and give him a dollar.
'Shuttup bitch and give me a dollar' The future looks bright.
'Didn't I kill you?, shut your mouth.'
After a half hour of messing with us we finally gave him a dollar and he left happy.
Then Kevin traded a skateboard for a scooter ride.
The next spot was a rough wall that we tried to wax, but had the cops called on us for doing 'graffiti.'
The cop: 'You know Matt Rodriguez and the guy who broke his back in Australia? John Cardiel? yeah, I put those guys in jail. we carry a photo of them around to show skaters who we lock up.' and while searching kevins bag and finding a can of clear spray coating... 'Oh look, clear lubricant, that's what you use on your wife.' to a bewildered partner. good times.
Josh waiting for the cop to let us go.
Seu and Rob think Cardiel is bad-ass.
We then spent the rest of our night driving around doing monumental battles using paintballs and slingshots and super-soakers. The vans are getting fucked up. And I took a Billy shot right to the eye. Luckily I was wearing goggles. I took two to the cheek also, and I got him twice in the dome.
I was feeling pretty freaked out and fortunate.
I was cut in 3 places, and my cheek was throbbing.
Later that night, Grif talked Rob into trying to jump this pretty tall sign. He went for it, but went down mega-hard.
We wish it could have been filmed. See more stuff on ed's part of the website
And don't forget to scope L. Kincade Number 11...
And click the VIDEO-DRONE banner below for Kevin's monthly video feature! Tonight's Daily Habit guest is ex-pro skater turned entrepreneur, the man behind Tum Yeto and Dekline, Tod Swank. Don't miss the airing tonight, June 25th @ 9:00pm Eastern Time (6:00pm Pacific Time).

Ex-pro skater turned entrepreneur, the man behind Tum Yeto and Foundation Skateboards, Tod Swank will be appearing on the The Daily Habit Wednesday June 25th. Airing at 9:00 pm Eastern Time (6:00 pm Pacific Time).
Heres a couple shots of Corey on the back of buses in SF.
booyakasha
On another note...
Corey, Angel, and Abdias have been traveling around the dirty south the past week.
Stopping by Progressive Skatepark in Canton, GA on Go Skateboarding Day to sign a few autographs.
We woke in a scorching hot Sacramento and hit the co-op for some food. These Loyal Toy Pawns were at the demo at Ground Zero skateshop.
A self-portrait with Jon Nguyen, a flow guy we are checking out.
Rob Straser, A flow guy you will here about in the near future.
We arrived at the demo, ripped it a new A-Hole, and then shot photos of some of the kids who were lurking around.
Don't mess with Loyal Toy Pawns, they will screw you up.
Lurk-Fest 2008
This guy. Harley was his name...
He had a 'face' he wanted to show me. I don't get it.
The cup guy. His plan was to use only this cup for a year. Good luck.
Then I spotted a 'Hairdo of Defiance' and was amped.
This guy skated the demo. Lucky us.
Then we went to Chipotle, some chain restaurant, bleck, -I've had worse though.
You can't go wrong with L. Kincade Number 11 playing right now on the interweb.
June 21st 12pm. I will be taking you through the day and making this online photo extravaganza a experience. Grab a snack, turn off your phone, and prepare for total blog overload. Well I do have coffee in front of me so that helps with the enthusiasm.
The day was bleeding skateboarding...
Chula Vista has a big skatepark. I can't think of anything else to say about this photo.
The line to skate the double set at the park where the DJ was set up also.
Whats that in the background of the DJ booth? Oh yeah we...
had a dunk tank. I can't believe somebody actually let us rent a dunk tank from them.
Dunked.
Whats that in the background. Whys there a kid hanging on the fence?
Oh yeah its not a kid just a life sized super man skater pinata.
More on the pinata later... Back to the dunk tank.
watch out Nolan Ryan and Randy Johnson are up to throw...
Goodbye.
Goodbye.
This little guy loved the dunk tank. He was in it for hours. The only thing was that he kept getting tired so you had to physically grab him and put him back on the seat.
If you went in fully clothed you came up on new pants and tee's from us.
Random product tosses went on throughout the day. Every kid walked away with something.
After dunk tanking and product tossing we were best tricking...
Instead of shooting it like a skate contest we decided to shoot it like a dance off.
hmm.. the shoulder blade slide.. thats a new one.
The run and jump on your back move... this was a crowd favorite...
I haven't seen this one for ages. The confused backwards butt spin. Whew. Thats some Shakira shit right there.
The confused backwards butt spin was matched by the sideways version. Things were really starting to heat up at this point.
The arm pump 360 blind sided spin!
The butt cheak only levitating tornado was one of the final good dance moves I saw that day. Boy was it eventful.
But seriously...these guys won the contest. Stay tuned for the video we are editing right now.
When I got back from the dance off Tod was being interviewed by Channel 6 news.
We decided that wasn't exciting enough for us so we did a product toss around him mid interview. You are welcome Tod.
I spy with my little eye Tod bailing on the interview(can you find him?). Fun game huh?
We wrapped up the go skateboarding day at Chula Vista skatepark and prepared for the skate from the park to the new Overload Skateshop 3 miles away.
We took over the streets with roughly 75 kids or so.
I was in the middle of the group. I saw the most epic board getting ran over scene ever. Wish I would've been quick enough to shoot a sequence of it for you. It went like this...me skating down a hill, me seeing a kid fall and his board shoot towards a large oversized truck in the other line coming towards us, me saying to myself this is going to be epic, the board being ran over twice, me patting myself on the back because it was epic, me laughing, the TumYeto van picking the kid up that just got his board focused, the TumYeto staff giving him a new board, the kid being stoked that he came to our Go Skateboarding Day event even though his board got ran over. the end of the story. Moving on...
Our Pinata was being taken prisoner to the skate shop so we could break him open. Kinda sad considering he was already a amputee.
How come the pinata people made him legs but no arms? Hmmm...anyways...we brought him to the shop so we could break him open.
Instead of sticks we use skateboards. Hey just don't knock off his hands oh wait he doesn't have any anyways. Swing away buddy...
Let me take you back to the day before Go Skateboarding Day and show you what we filled him with. Stickers, Candy, DVDs, tech decks, 1 hat, and wheels. Ok now back to the day...
Good luck surviving the pit of kids ripping the pinata in pieces. Literally...pieces...I have proof.
SHIT! You now are a amputee with no head.. or a head and no body. Sorry my friend. Its been fun.
Apparently he was filled with candy and not blood and a heart and lungs and organs and bones and stuff.
We held one last product toss and called it a day. Thanks to everyone that came out. Especially Aaron from Overload and Chula Vista skatepark and all the sponsors. Without all of you this could not have happened. Respect.
This is the only photo I shot today. It's Billy with a daisy duke wearing pirate at a Subway.
We drove north to Benicia, and skated at a cement park in a suburban housing tract. The heat was not as bad as the last two days, and the crowd was pretty good. The demo was a success, with the whole team killing it, leaving it smoldering in ashes as we left.
L. Kincade 11: Oddity Odyssey Tour
Oh, and I found some video of a recent Toy Machine demo in Argentina for you to scope out too. Jason Adams is on his way out to the Dirty South in a few days. In the meantime here is what's going on in the dirty.
Woke up in San Luis Obispo, ate at Me Hung Low restaurant.
It was so hot out that skating was a non issue, so we drove to Morro Bay.
And took a dip in the freezing Pacific Ocean.
Morro Beach is famous for Morro Rock, behind Billy here.
People were out enjoying themselves in the sun and sand.
Josh and Grif started digging to China.
They were obsessed with digging a deep one.
It took a lot of work.
Then they used it to bury Josh up to the neck.
It was pretty sweet. We packed him in pretty tight, stomped it down real good.
It looked funny.
Then Billy pretended to punt his head...
And Josh Hulked out like a baby squirting out of the earth, newly reborn and fully corn-dogged.
Matt and Kevin lay their skinny white bodies down for some charring.
The demo, which I have NO photos of (because I was skating) was seriously an oven. When you walk into the park, your face starts burning, and it feels like your eyebrows were singing off. The dudes handled it like men. Then we signed autographs at the Esteem shop.
They held a BBQ for us too, Thanks!
Kids were chomping hot-dogs, totally unaware of how sketchy they are.
Josh scarfed one too...
And Billy was all over it. Look at Johnny, 'I want the relish."
The one armed man was there, he was telling us about his various attachments.
Then we hit a swimmin' hole with a rope swing into a deep pit of water.
It was just what we needed after getting so baked in the skatepark.
Billy was back to his old shenanigans, whacking golf balls at stop signs.
He has a pretty good swing.
Matt B hit the sign first try.
There was great light on these winsome young lads.
We drove back to SLO for dinner and messing around.
Logan K's foot was jacked, he had a blister from walking on the hot sand earlier at Morro Bay. Gareth Stehr is on On The Daily Habit TONIGHT!! (Friday, June 20, 2008). The show is airing at 9:00 pm Eastern Time (6:00 pm Pacific Time) and telecast three additional times. Don't miss it...
GarethStehr.com will be featured On The Daily Habit Friday(today) June 20, 2008.
Airing Friday, June 20 at 9:00 pm Eastern Time (6:00 pm Pacific Time) and telecast three additional times.
On Saturday you can check him out at the Go Skateboarding Day event in San Diego...or maybe he'll show up at one of these locations?
Matt B shows up for tour...
Billy comes last and gets slow-clapped.
Kevin gets him into one of our vans.
When we got to San Luis Obispo, the team was attacked with a hippie influenced hackey-sack attack.
Fucking hippies.
We did the demo in 850 degree windy weather, but fought through it. Billy Marks killed it, and the flow kids did good too. Afterward, kids lined up to suckle at the teat of greatness that is the Toy Machine team. Too strong?
The sect punch-doll was a hot topic.
More kid action.
Billy is more famous for his damn beer-pong stunts than for skating, here a fan asks him to sign a few balls.
After checking in to a hotel, we were off to eat. Jason Adams, Matt Ball and Zarosh all stopped by to pay a vist.
Check out to see if a shop in your town is hosting a TumYeto sponsored Go Skateboarding Day event!

Remember, if you are within 300 miles, you better be at the Toy Machine Oddity Odyssey Summer Tour.
No Excuses will be Accepted.
Are you a Denver, CO local? If so....make sure you go to this Go Skateboarding Day @ the Civic Ten. Do you know where the Civic Ten is?
If you're from Denver, CO or the surrounding cities you probably know what this means on Go Skateboarding Day. If you don't know...then oh well.
Austin polished off some moves for Kincaide X. You know it's important when the Roman numerals start.
The auteur between takes.
Matt B was there out of uniform.
Surprise guest Chandler Stephens.
What's up with the HB Park?
Gareth trys out surf skating. Maybe he will give you a demo with it on
Go Skateboarding Day... Chris Pastras hosted this years TWS Awards and Patrick Melcher interviewed the nominees as they rolled in on the red carpet.
Gareth front blunt
David Ninja like 50-50
You know at the start of movies when they have that action packed little commercial of people stealing cars, and stealing electronics, and stealing something else cool that I forget about. And then they say its the same as stealing movies off the internet. Like they are trying to make you feel bad for downloading movies instead of renting them or buying them. Well I just stole these photos from Broach and the Thrasher site and I don't feel bad about it at all. Is that kinda like the same situation?
On another note...Corey has Osiris bus stop benches now.
Influencing bus riders from here on out...Dang. He just got cover of a bench.
I caught up with Abdias over the weekend and he said Damn Am in Minneapolis
went great. Sure looks that way...
Matt B and Logan Kincaide flossing with Stevie Williams.
Brandon Biebel was there too.
Flow riders Grant and Rob get busted for being HOT.
They shouldn't have been buying drugs off of Ed.
Cairo Foster sighting.
Skin Phillips, the editor of Transworld.
The Muska hates Griffin.
Chris Cole sat behind me during the awards.
Toy Machine's own Kevin Barnett.
Darell Stanton with a puffy Scott Caine, no?
Ed Templeton and Mike O'meally, grizzled as always. BURK UZZLE!!!!!
Richard Mulder has been sighted a lot lately.
Then we saw Felix Arguelles, sorry wrong one, I mean this Felix Arguelles, the one that was in The Cut.
Chad Fernandez, aka CHUD, counsels Matt Bennett on getting into the movies.
Frank Gerwer has gone tranny on us...
And Lance Mountain, his former boss, is not too amped on it.
Lizard King had some Gatorade soaked head-lettuce. Who woulda thought he was so into Duran Duran?
Patrick Melcher was clearly in the crazy moustache club...
Along with Richie Jackson.
Nick Trapasso and his Young Filly.
Toy Machine's own Mike Sinclair is repping hard.
Slash.
Scientology's favorite son, Steve Berra was on hand...
To see his old boss Tony Hawk get the lifetime achievement award.
The Toy team is gearing up for the Oddity Odyssey Summer Tour...
Heres a couple photos from last nights Transworld awards.
Corey was there. He was nominated for best two video parts in a year.
Nuge and Muska and Slash(not pictured) on stage presenting a award.
Corey presented a award with Stevie Williams.
So I trudged myself out to LA for the TWS Awards, which are always exciting. My ears are still ringing, my throat is sorta scratchy from all the second hand smoke from both weed and grits, and I luckily escaped getting beer thrown all over me. (Throwing full cans of beer at the stage was pretty much standard for the entire evening) This is Nick before the action started, as usual, comfortably numb, toting a cute hippie-chick on one arm and a Pabst on the other.
When I walked up to this event on Hollywood and Vine in the heart of LA I saw a swarm of skate-rats pushing into the door like a ants' nest. Fuel TV was there trying to snatch people's souls into their airwaves on a red carpet style set-up. Then there were bikini-clad women roaming the crowd. I thought of my humble beginnings as a skater, learning how to ollie, or boardsliding a bench for the first time, then my brain just fast forwarded to this. What the hell is going on.
I ran into Erik Ellington. Long time homie who I have not seen for a while. It was nice to say hi, although in too hectic a situation.
Then after I barged through the rif-raf to get in with my posse in tow, I was stoked to see Ray Barbee and the Matson twins shredding it up live.
Who is the asshole smoking inside?
Is that Deanna with her cleavage showing?
Grant Hatfield was sitting in front of me, wait, that's not Grant. And Josh too.
Here is a better photo of Josh Harmony. He had this footage of his son Harrison that he showed us. So Sweet.
I tried to shot some trolls, er, girls sitting in the aisles causing a fire-hazard.
Then I remembered a flash works better.
I was lucky to have old friend Miki Vuckovich sitting next to me. He has been skating since before you were born.
MUSKA! What up dog? "I've been living in New York and making art with my buddy Dash Snow."
Former Toy rider Nate Broussard was there...
He was hella drunk and hugging everyone. Then I saw Matt B...
And went over to get a photo with him. Yeah Matt B.
This is Nick after the video premiere (which he destroyed). "I said congrats on the part Nick!" But I don't think he even heard me or could focus on me. Just like before the premiere, comfortably numb.
Austin gets tubed in Crown Town.
Today is all about this premiering in LA tonight. Start a riot.
Oddity Odyssey is approaching, Tim Russert was was planning on being there...
Check out the skateboarder site to find out how you win all these Foundation products!
Diego has had a rough time with injuries lately so he treated himself to a sweet new ride. UGH!
He's also been getting gnarly soccer thug style.
You can't keep the Butch down. He was in good spirits even immediately post-knee tweak. Get well soon, Diego!
Unfortunately, he won't be on this.
Featuring none other than Abdias Rivera.
WHO? The entire Toy Machine team (minus Diego who has to get knee surgery) + some flow pawns.
WHAT? Live Skateboarding Action in or around your home town.

Covert Skateshop was the destination.
We met up with everyone else in the shop and caught up on the latest skate videos.

Nuge thought this would be a good tee shirt graphic.
After the signing we hung out in the back of the skate shop for awhile.
Then eventually said our goodbyes to the shop owner and all made our way back home...
Unfortunately we weren't going to Vegas like some people...
Looks like Sierra and David are having a good time skating with Circa in the Philippines.
Grant got crazy in Crown Town the other day. Rob was amazed.
Grant pre-bloodbath. Austin went down too.
Grif's weapon of choice. Casual.
Kincaide 9.

First thing: Corey was nominated for a Transworld award. Heres the press release we sent out.
Second thing: Tods birthday was like last weekend. So we threw him a little birthday party at the Yeto. We got him a pony.
Third I guess thing: Angel Ramirez is all grown up now. And Thrasher caught up with him for his first ever age 21 interview. What a in-depth interview...
Err, I mean eight times. That's right!! Tum Yeto will be hosting Go Skateboarding Day at Chula Vista Skate Park. The day will be jam packed with everything from skating to dunk tanking. Come celebrate with Dekline and the rest of the Tum Yeto brands.
Heavily blowing it if you missed the third and final annual GC Birthday Bash at HB.
