Sam Gillis, my friend has a pair of vox, and he says that they are good, hes had them for about 3 months of moderately hardcore skating, and they appear to have shown no wear. He does complain about the shock absorption though, but his shoes are pretty slim, so if you go bulky I doubt there would be an issue. Also on the side of the shoe near the toe on the midsole part theres this textured rubbery stuff, looks like the same material as the sole, and my friend says that this helps him flip the board very clean. Overall, I would say go for it.

explosions in the sky is a good band to listen to while chillin',the shins are good for skating. Overall two good bands.

dude i bruise my feet so easy and i skate emerica slip ons i cant even skate in reg shoes anymore bc i love how slim they are, and ive never had any bruises yet and ive been skating them since like oct compared to wear i bruised my feet the first month i got ren3. plus i skate mostly gaps and banks
