(a letter in-regards to an ad in Thrasher April 2011)
Mr. Ed Templeton,
Having a proper toilet session is a small but serious endeavor that I look forward to everyday. The make up for a good session requires one essential, a Thrasher Mag. The newest issue of Thrasher really heightens the delight of “giving birth to a fine log”.
As always, when my time pooping comes to a close I gently place my Thrasher back on the vanity….UNLESS I come across an always pleasing Toy Machine ad., i.e. my poop on March 17, 2011 while reading the April’s 2011 issue, the Leo Romero SOTY issue. As I do with every Toy ad, I sat on that bowl in complete silence and read every word and let go of my body to feel the glorious washing of my brain that was taking place. I was overcome with euphoria as I was having useless propaganda replaced with pure skateboarding domination. Toy Machine has “cured my cultural blindness” and the extra moments I spent sitting on the toilet to read this entire article was totally worth my precious time. As I stood up and heard my ass suction off the bowl and saw in the mirror , with my peripheral vision, a red circle around my butt cheeks, I had zero feelings of regret because I knew the events of my brain washing and control were in the hands of a fine leader.
Thank You Ed,
a LOYAL PAWN lifer
of your art, your skating, and of course TOY MACHINE,

a post on sunday?!? awesome!!
i started skating around (ish)the time when thats life dropped and i remember everybody being into duffel and getting all geared up with tight pants and shit.
i liked duffel too, but i went the fowler route.
his part, shimizu's, and leo's where my favorites.
so i started wearing girl jeans since those where the only ones that seemed bell-bottomed, like fowler, while everybody wore Krews and shit.
fowler kills. he owns backside.
bummer he's not on rvca anymore or that i can't find his bummer high decks anywhere

Back lips down stairs, ridiculous. Tell Heath. now putting your penis between two lips, that's sick. I would say Heath owns that trick. Or they can share.
Fuck, now I gotta get that Thrasher.
I met Duffel after his That's Life part dropped. He really did have an army of clones in skin tight pants. Now he's kinda Rockabilly Beard looking. Where did our Duffel go. From Ramone,To Signature Duffel,to his new thing.
I remember when everybody had those Krew jeans and that Skate or Die all over print hoodie.
Flare bottom jeans too.
I like Daniel Shimizu's style. don't really see any footy from him. ever. or Brent Atchley. Those are some dudes I don't see much here on the internets or in them magazines.
Sunday post,we're spoiled.
