This made my day. Austin Stephens will always remain as an influence to my skating. I hope to see some of his skating here and there.

This also made my day. I think every future TM video should have at least one secret AS trick thrown in!

I remember skating Claremont Park and seeing Austin before he was on any team. His style was still developing but I knew it would become it's own unique gift. I watched him get technically better each week and his style more effortless and grateful. Unlike other guys coming up at the time, who literally smoked crack, and who's ego(s) inflated to laughable proportions, Austin always kept a level head as his abilities became more recognized. He was down to earth and always polite whenever we would run into each other, and as infrequent as it was, he seemed to make an effort to remember my name. When he did that FS Boardslide down the big rail in the Claremont Colleges- I knew he was here to make an impression. Thanks for being cool and keeping it real.
